All entry courses come with a PADI ultimate open water pack is included. (this may not mean much now but this is the best pack PADI produce). It includes an Open water DVD and ERDP (electronic recreational dive planner, to make dive planning easy)

All this is included in the price. The only extra cost that could be incurred is the admission into the open water dive sites of Capernwray and Ellerton

There is the option to add a mask, snorkel and fins to this package (recommended) at a discounted price of £35 whilst purchasing your course.

The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the most popular diving course in the world and is the first step in the PADI continuing education programme, with over 35 different diver education courses.

Once you complete this course you will be a fully qualified diver and receive a credit card sized ID, which includes your photograph and diving qualifications. This card is your lifelong passport to experience the undersea world at home or abroad. This course is open to anyone aged 10 and upwards.

Quite simply, this internationally recognised qualification allows you to rent diving equipment, purchase air fills, go on organised dives with anyone of similar qualification or above worldwide.

Please note all courses must be completed within 12months of payment.

The course comprises of a number of pool modules where you will learn 20 skills. It will usually take 5 pool sessions to learn the 20 skills, but if this takes a little longer, that’s no problem, we will not allow you in the open water until we are sure you are competent and comfortable in your new environment.

There then follows 4 Open Water dives where you repeat many of the skills in the open water. It is not always possible to get into the sea, so we carry out our open water dives at a purpose built diving quarry called Capernwray, which is in Lancashire or a lake called Ellerton which is near Catterick.

As part of the course, you will also receive a PADI open water book which must be read, there are 5 knowledge reviews in the book. There are also lectures to be done culminating in an exam at the end.

Scuba Diver

The PADI Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification that is perfect for holiday divers or people who only plan to dive a couple times a year.

As a subprogram of the PADI Open Water Diver program, the PADI Scuba Diver rating allows you to get certified quickly and easily by minimizing time constraints. With the PADI Scuba Diver certification you can dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor or higher professional on your next holiday or dive trip

The course consists of modules 1 to 3 of the PADI open water course in the pool, along side 3 classroom sessions and 3 knowledge reviews. There then follows 2 open water dives
