Will be leaving Durham on the thursday or even wednesday night for Scrabster as we need to be in the Orkneys for Fridays diving. Ferry leaves Scrabster at 7pm thursday night(other times are available) and returns Monday at 5pm or Tuesday morning! this will give us 4 days of diving minium of 2 dives per day depth upto 40
meters.
A lot of these wrecks are still intact and worth a visit plus other dives like the block ships are great. Wrecks start at 16 meters and its optional if you want to find the bottom but a good 30 meter dive is well worth it.
Where working on a first come first go rota and the price of the trip depends on the numbers, but two dives a day including air is £45. The ferry across to Orkney as a foot passenger is £30 (a car will occur an extra charge) return journey. We will try and arrange transport so people share as its an 8hr trip, also it cuts down the cost of fuel.
We can arrange beds on the boat for £10 a night!! but would suggest that you stay in one of the properties that we rent(£120 for 5 nights) or even a hotel! The boat holds 12 divers, minium is 4. Deposit is £50 none refundable!!! Balance of £130 payable by the 01st April 2012 which ensures the boat sails. We do except credit or debit cards as payment but these incur a 2 % handling fee.
